The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 Auction is taking place at the Jio World Convention Centre at the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai.
WPL 2023 Auction Live Updates: A total of 409 cricket players will be sold at the auction out of the 1525 players who registered themselves. Of the 409 players, 246 are from India and 163 come from other countries, including 8 players from associate nations. There are 202 total capped players, 199 total uncapped players, and 8 players from associate countries.
Some of the biggest names from around the world will be going under the hammer, apart from Indian stars like Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Shafali Verma, and Jemimah Rodrigues.
Each team is only allowed to select a maximum of 18 players, 30 of whom must be international players, there will only be 90 slots available among the five teams.
