The Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) are squaring off in the eighth game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.
In the opening match of the IPL 2023, Rajasthan Royals easily defeated SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) thanks to an outstanding all-around effort. on the other hand, with a victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their backyard, the Punjab Kings got their season off to a winning start.
So close yet to so far and Punjab Kings have won by 5 runs.
In fact, this is only the third time Punjab Kings won their first 2 games of a season in the history of IPL.
Sanju Samson's 42, Shimron Hetmyer 36 and Dhruv Jurel's 32 got the side almost to the finish line, but it was not their day today.
