Sarfira story

Sudha Kongara's film Sarfira is the Hindi remake of Tamil film Soorarai Pottru. The main plot is about a man who wants to make a low-cost airline.

Akshay Kumar as Vir Mhatre

Akshay Kumar has lived the character of Vir Mhatre in and out. His earnest performance is one of the big highlights. He is truly a man who dared to dream big in life.

Radhikka's best performance

Radhikka Madan as Rani, who runs a bakery, is a fierce woman. The actress lights up the screen in all of her scenes. This is her best performance after Pataakha.

Music and score

The background score of Sarfira elevates many scenes, that could've been dull otherwise. The music of the film is decent.

Suriya's cameo

Suriya's cameo counts as another big highlight of Sarfira. His character is one of the key parts of the movie.

Sarfira: What didn't work

The film's second-half has some scenes, which seem unnecessary. Had they been cut, Sarfira would've been a seamless watch.

Sarfira: Final verdict

Despite some flaws, Sarfira is worth watching because of its gripping narrative and earnest performances by the star cast. 3 stars out of 5 for Sarfira.
