Prabhas

The Telugu superstar is set to play the role of Bhairava, the man who is destined to save the dystopian community living in Varanasi, in the film.

Amitabh Bachchan

The legendary superstar is playing the epic Mahabharata character, immortal Ashwatthama in the Nag Ashwin directorial.

Kamal Haasan

The veteran actor is all set appear as the lead antagonist in Kalki 2898 AD. However, Kamal Haasan will not have much screentime in the film.

Deepika Padukone

The Bollywood star is appearing as the female protagonist in the Prabhas film. Reportedly, her character in the film is Padma, a modern avatar of Goddess Lakshmi.

Disha Patani

The popular actress is reportedly appearing in the role of Bhairava's love interest in the upcoming fantasy sci-fi film.

The cameos

Many popular stars, including director SS Rajamouli, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, Keerthy Suresh, Mrunal Thakur, Anna Ben, and others are making cameo appearances in the film.

Supporting cast

Saswata Chatterjee, Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Pasupathy, and others appear in the supporting roles.

The crew

Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music. Djordje Stojiljkovic and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handle the cinematography and editing, respectively. The project is bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies.
