From Michelle Yeoh to M M Keeravani: Here’s what the Golden Globe winners said in their acceptance speech

Michelle Yeoh took home the award for the ‘Best Actress - Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy’ category, and in her acceptance speech she said, “It's been an amazing journey and incredible fight to be here but it's been worth it.”

Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy received a ‘Carol Burnett’ award in recognition of his television career. He dedicated his award to his fellow actors, Mj Rodriguez, Billy Porter, Niecy Nash, Matt Bomer and Jeremy Pope to “make a point of hope and progress”, especially for the LGBTQ kids.

Austin Butler

Austin Butler took home the award for ‘Best Actor in a Motion Pictures Drama’ for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in Elvis. He paid a tribute to Elvis saying, “You were an icon, a rebel and I love you so much.”

Jennifer Coolidge

Jennifer Coolidge won the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ title for her role in White Lotus. She said that as she aged her dreams fizzled out, but the creator of White Lotus, Mike White, had given her hope.

Angela Bassett

Angela Bassett honoured the late Chadwick Boseman in her speech for winning ‘Best Actress in Supporting Role’ award for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She remembered the late actor saying that she was surrounded by the light of Chadwick everyday.

In order for dreams to manifest

The two-time Golden Globe Award-winning actress also said that in order for destiny to manifest, it requires courage, and to have faith, requires patience and a true sense of yourself.

MM Keeravani

MM Keeravani won the ‘Golden Globe for Best Original Song’, and he dedicated his award in priority to SS Rajamouli, director of RRR, Prem Rakshith, the animator of the song, Kalaa Bhairava for arrangements of the song, Chandrabose for lyrics, Rahul Siplligunj and Kaala Bhairava who rendered the song with high energy.

MM Keeravani

He also dedicated the award to Jr NTR and Ram Charan for performing in full energy, as well as Sidharth and Jeevan Babu who programmed the song.
