The supervillain Gru, with his army of adorable Minions, is planning to steal the moon. He will finish anyone who comes between his wicked plan. The first film managed to draw a massive audience that has been sticking to the franchise.
The greatest villain is now trying to tame himself. Gru is now trying to be the provider for his family, but what do ex-villains do in the civilized world? The Anti-Villain League hires him to find another villain who has created havoc somewhere.
After the AVL fires Gru, the risk is that he might return to a life of crime. But little do we know he has a brother on the other side of the world, and he decides to visit him. When the two brothers reunite, they are faced with a new challenge: a child star who now wants revenge against the world.
Evolved out of a single yellow cell, Minions are beings who need a master and are nothing without one. After having served the entire historic league, including Napoleon, they are now masterless, which has sent them into deep depression. But Minion Kevin has a plan, and he takes Stuart and Bob along with him to execute it.
We are now in the flashback where, in the 1970s, a young Gru is trying to become a supervillain. But his interview turns disastrous, and he and his Minions are on the run from the Vicious 6. Soon they find help in the ousted leader of the Vicious 6, which saves the day.
All the films are streaming on Zee5 (on rent), Amazon Prime Video (on rent), and JioCinema with a subscription. You can also access them on Zee5 with your OTTplay Premium subscription.
Despicable Me 4 is set to hit the big screen on July 3. Gru now faces a challenge as an old foe returns, but he is also a father now and needs to balance his duties.
