Tejalakshmi Jayan, Urvashi's daughter, saw the film during the special preview in Kochi. She gave the cast's outstanding performances—especially that of the two powerful protagonists—high commendation.
The director's intensive storytelling technique was praised by Nikhila Vimal. She said that the movie offers an intense cinematic experience and that it is worth seeing in a theatre.
Kani Kusurthi claims that the movie tells a story of optimism and the need for people to be compassionate towards one another. She said that the performance and writing in the movie were beautiful.
