2023 ended on a high note with multiple box office successes. Though 2024 was anticipated to be a blockbuster year for Bollywood, it did not turn out to be so. Here are some of the biggest flops of the year. 

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

Despite being a star-studded affair, Akshay Kumar's film failed to connect with the audience and its weak script led to poor BO numbers. Made on a budget of Rs 350 cr, the film only made Rs 66 cr.

Maidaan

Ajay Devgn's sports drama was expected to be a hit, given the story of the film. But the not-so-compelling script and performances led to its downfall. Made on a budget of Rs 250 cr, the film only earned Rs 53 cr.

Yodha 

Starring Sidharth Malhotra, the action-packed film was panned for its mediocre action scenes and predictable plot. Made on a budget of Rs 55 cr, the film only earned Rs 33 cr.

Ruslaan 

Aayush Sharma's film garnered negative reviews for its clichéd plot and weak performances. Made on a budget of Rs 25 cr, the film only collected Rs 4.05 cr.

Bhaiyya Ji 

Termed as a masala entertainer, the film tried to capitalize on Manoj Bajpayee's action-hero image But couldn't draw in the crowds due to its outdated tropes. Made on a budget of Rs 20 cr, the film only made Rs 10.35 cr.

Main Atal Hoon

Pankaj Tripathi's biopic on the former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee lacked depth and disappointed the audience, leading to its box office failure. Made on a budget of Rs 20 cr, the film only earned Rs 8.65 cr.
