Shubham Kulkarni
Krishna (Ajay Devgn/Shantanu Maheshwari), a young man, does something tragic for his lover Vasudha (Tabu/Saiee Manjrekar) and lands in prison for 23 years. When he is released, he meets her again, and together they face the demons that have been lurking for all those years.
The plot of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is quite reminiscent of many stories we have seen in the past. This isn't inherently problematic, but the narrative feels too diluted and spoon-fed. A single event is repeated thrice for shock value without any impressive placement.
Neeraj Pandey, who has made his name in the world of espionage and thrillers, tries his hand at romance with no success. However, he creates a very stretched and predictable story.
Ajay Devgn continues to be Ajay Devgn, Tabu doesn't get to showcase her full potential, and Saiee Manjrekar is growing into a better actor.
Shantanu Maheshwari becomes the soul of the movie, and the actor seems to have put a lot of effort into his performance.
M. M. Keeravani’s music album is amazing, minus Jubin Nautiyal's contributions. However, his film score is too loud and, at times, wants to dictate the narrative a bit too much.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha fails to reach the crescendo it intends to and becomes a movie that is neither exciting nor soul-stirring.
