Chandu Champion (Prime Video)  

This motivating biopic revolves around India's first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar, who made the country proud after winning in freestyle swimming, despite the odds.  

Ali (Lionsgate Play)  

This gripping sports biopic revolves around boxer Muhammad Ali and portrays his hardships in personal life and career. 

M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (Hotstar)  

Based on the life of the former captain of the Indian national cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the movie showcases his journey as he chases his dreams. 

Mary Kom (Netflix)  

Starring Priyanka Chopra as the eponymous boxer, this sports biopic revolves around Mary Kom as she garners recognition after winning a bronze medal at the Olympics. 

Dangal (Prime Video)

The movie follows an amateur wrestler as he trains his daughters to aim for a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games. It is based on the lives of the Phogat sisters and their father.  

Soorma (Netflix)

An emotionally charged sports biopic that revolves around a hockey player’s struggles to make a comeback in the game after a tragedy. It is based on Sandeep Singh’s life.  

Nyad (Netflix)

Inspired by the life of marathon swimmer Diana Nyad, this uplifting biopic showcases the triumph of true dedication against the odds of age and social stereotypes.   

Budhia Singh – Born to Run (Netflix)  

This intriguing sports drama film is based on Budhia Singh and his coach as the former becomes the world's youngest marathon runner.
