Madras Cafe (Netflix) 

The 2013 political thriller explores details of the assassination of a former Indian Prime Minister. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, John Abraham is seen as spy Major Vikram Singh.   

Khufiya (Netflix) 

Starring Tabu in the lead role, this movie is about an agent of the R&AW, who is juggling her two identities as a spy and a love. She is tasked with finding out about a person selling defense secrets. 

Raazi (Amazon Prime Video) 

Starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, this Meghna Gulzar directorial sees Sehmat Khan (Bhatt) - an undercover RAW agent, who obtains important intelligence about the enemy in Pakistan. 

IB71 (Disney+ Hotstar) 

Set in the backdrop of Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, this film sees how Indian Intelligence Bureau comes up with a cunning plan that defies all odds. Vidyut Jammwal is seen as IB agent Dev Jammwal.  

Mission Majnu (Netflix) 

Directed by Shantanu Bagchi and featuring Sidharth Malhotra, this film is about a RAW agent in Pakistan who alerts India about the likely misuse of nuclear weapons during the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971.   

Baby (Disney+ Hotstar) 

Neeraj Pandey's 2015 action thriller revolves around the efforts of the counterterrorism unit to foil terrorist activities within India. In the movie, Akshay Kumar plays a committed intelligence officer. 

Romeo Akbar Walter (Apple TV+) 

Inspired by real events, Robbie Grewal's 2019 thriller is about 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. John Abraham plays an undercover agent and is dispatched on a perilous mission to gather intelligence in Pakistan.  

Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran (Netflix) 

This film is based on India's 1998 nuclear bomb test explosions. India's aspirations to become a nuclear power are highlighted, which stars John Abraham as a RAW agent.
