Vanangaan – January 10

Starring Arun Vijay and Roshni Prakash, this Tamil action drama is directed by Bala. The story is about one who bows down only to love but rises against injustices.

Madraskaaran – January 10

This action drama marks Malayalam actor Shane Nigam's Tamil debut. The story depicts a minor argument between two strangers escalating into a drastic conflict.

Madha Gaja Raja – January 12

This Tamil action-comedy drama stars Vishal Krishna Reddy and Sonu Sood. Though the shooting wrapped up in 2013, the movie is finally releasing this year in 2025.

Kadhalikka Neramillai – January 14

This Tamil romance drama, starring Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen, has music composed by AR Rahman. The film also features Vinay Rai, Yogi Babu, Lal, and John Kokken.

Tharunam – January 14

Starring Kishen Das and Smruthi Venkat, the Tamil romance thriller is also releasing this Pongal. The release date was announced by Kishen on his social media.

Nesippaya – January 14

Starring Aditi Shankar and Akash Murali, this Tamil romance drama is directed by Hindi film Shershaah-fame Vishnu Vardhan. Yuvan Shankar Raja has given the music.

Sumo

Directed by Hosimin, this Tamil film stars Priya Anand and Japanese sumo wrestler Yoshinori Tashiro. Although the date is yet to be confirmed, reports say it will release this Pongal.

Game Changer – January 10

Ram Charan and Kiara Advani's Telugu film is also releasing in Tamil on the same date. It's about an honest IAS officer's fight against the corrupt political system.
