Several Indian movies are banned in Pakistan but surprisingly the country also restricts numerous Indian TV serials due to their conflicted storylines and stereotypes. 

Naagin 2

The first season of this supernatural series garnered popularity in Pakistan but from season season it was banned for unknown reasons. 

May I Come in Madam? 

This comedy TV show is also banned in Pakistan. The plot revolves around a troubled man who seeks attention from his beautiful boss after getting dejected by his wife. 

Bigg Boss

India’s popular reality show Bigg Boss is also banned in Pakistan allegedly for its explicit language and bold scenes. 

Thapki Pyar Ki

The plot revolves around the titular character who finds a silver lining even in adverse situations. It is among the few TV soaps banned in the country. 

Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 

This famous sitcom didn’t sit well with Pakistan authorities as they banned it for unknown reasons. The plot follows two neighbours and their daily encounters. 

Qubool Hai

This popular Indian TV serial didn’t meet with the same enthusiasm in the neighbouring country. The plot revolves around an unconventional Muslim girl and her romance with a rigid businessman.  

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 

Ektaa Kapoor’s beloved romantic family drama was also banned in Pakistan. The story follows a Tamil dentist falling for a single father as she bonds with his daughter.
