This Academy-Award winning film revolves around the eponymous revolutionary freedom fighter who fought for India’s Independence with his non violence and other vital movements.

Swatantrya Veer Savarkar (ZEE5)

Featuring Randeep Hooda in the titular role, this biopic traces the events of the freedom fighter’s life as he battles to reform the country. 

Jodhaa Akbar (Netflix)

This historical film revolves around the Mughal leader Akbar (played by Hrithik Roshan) and showcases his bravery and resilience. 

Sardar Udham (Prime Video)

This historical biopic revolves around the titular character who  seeks on a revenge path to avenge the death of innocent victims of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre as he assassinates Michael O'Dwyer.
