Trisha’s missed superhits  

Trisha Krishnan is a popular star in the South industry. She is known for giving several hits in her career. However, she has rejected several blockbusters too. Take a look:   

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal (Hotstar) 

Vignesh Shivan envisioned his love triangle script with Nayanthara and Trisha alongside Vijay Sethupathi. However, due to Trisha's exit, Samantha was finalised.  

Maryada Ramanna (Hotstar)

Trisha turned down S S Rajamouli’s action comedy with actor Sunil in the lead. After her rejection, the film went to Saloni and became a commercial and critical success.  

Gopala Gopala (Sun NXT) 

This satirical comedy drama was also rejected by Trisha due to some personal reasons. The superhit movie starred Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan with the female lead as Shriya Saran.  

Bairavaa (ZEE5) 

Trisha was the first choice for this action thriller opposite Thalapathy Vijay. However, after she rejected the role, it was played by Keerthy Suresh.  

Aadukalam (Sun NXT) 

Vetrimaran’s drama film is another hit that Trisha missed after she rejected the role opposite Dhanush. It later went to newcomer Taapsee Pannu in her Tamil debut. 

Bhagavanth Kesari (JioCinema)

Anil Ravipudi’s action-drama features Nandamuri Balakrishna in the titular role. Trisha was initially approached as the female lead, but she passed the offer to Kajal Aggarwal.  

Boys (ZEE5) 

S. Shankar’s coming-of-age movie is one of the cult classic films that Trisha missed. She was initially offered the female lead role but after she rejected, it went to newcomer Genelia
