Flop movies of Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar's recent films have been underperforming tremendously at the box office for various reasons. Here are some of his biggest flops till date:

Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara

After Ajay Devgn's Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, audiences had much expectations from the second instalment. Unfortunately, Akshay Kumar's film underperformed badly.

Bachchhan Paandey

Akshay Kumar fans were disappointed with this film. The film, made on a budget of Rs. 165 crore, merely collected Rs 73.17 crore at the box office. Some didn't even like Akshay's collaboration with Kriti Sanon.

Samrat Prithviraj

Another cold offering from Akshay Kumar. Made on a budget of Rs. 175 crore, it earned only Rs 90 crore at the box office worldwide. 2017 Miss World Manushi Chhillar made her acting debut with Samrat Prithviraj.

Bell Bottom

Although the film had the potential to become a good espionage thriller, the story did not set things up nicely, and the actors' performances turned out to be too ordinary. It earned only Rs 50 crore at the box office.

Raksha Bandhan

Despite a good social message about the brother-sister bond, it failed to catch the audience’s attention. This film was made on a budget of Rs 110 crore.

Ram Setu

This adventure drama failed at the box office because of its poor script about the Ram Setu in Hindi mythology. The film collected only Rs 90 crore worldwide.

Selfiee

This is the first time Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi collaborated and still the film flopped. Audiences were initially excited to watch the duo, but the director couldn't create a compelling conflict between Kumar and Hashmi.
