As per reports, the makers wanted Rajkummar opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. But he had to reject it due to busy schedule and Jitendra Kumar replaced him.
Not many know but Rajkummar was Meghna Gulzar's first choice. However, the actor was busy and Vikrant Massey replaced him.
Not Kartik Aaryan but Rajkuummar Rao was considered for the now-shelved film. As he was busy shooting The White Tiger, he had to reject the sequel to Dostana.
As per reports, Rao was the first choice for the film. But he did not like the character, hence, rejected it.
Before Varun Sharma, Rajkummar was offered the second lead in the film but he rejected it due to unknown reasons.
Following the blockbuster success of Stree 2, Rao is currently gearing up for the release of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video co-starring Triptii Dimri.
The trailer of the film received a lot of love from fans. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film will hit theaters on October 11.
