Ayushmann Khurrana was offered the lead role of Vicky in the blockbuster Stree. But he turned it down and the role was later given to Rajkummar Rao. Notably, his brother Aparshakti Khurana (Bittu) is also in the film.
Ayushmann Khurrana was offered the role of Aakash Kapoor in Hungama 2, but he turned it down. The role was eventually given to Meezaan Jaffrey.
As per reports, Ayushmann was originally considered for the role of Paras, which was eventually played by Vicky Kaushal.
Ayushmann reportedly turned down a role in the sequel to the 1997 film Border. He said that he was not sure about his place in the Sunny Deol-led ensemble cast. The film will be released in 2026.
