A new King and Queen of the Ring will be crowned on May 25 at the Jeddah Dome in Saudi Arabia.

After a three-year break owing to the pandemic, WWE is all set to welcome a new King and Queen of the Ring. The finals of both the events – The King of the Ring & The Queen of the Ring – is being held on May 25, 10.30 pm (IST) onward at the Jeddah Dome in Saudi Arabia. This time, Gunther and Randy Orton will fight it out for the King’s crown, while Lyra Valkyria takes on Nia Jax. The WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, will be available in India on the Sony Sports channel, with the live stream on SonyLIV.
In the first round, Gunther defeated Sheamus and then proceeded to beat Kofi Kingston in the Quarter-final. In the semi-final, he was up against Jay Uso, whom he got the better off to seal a spot in the finale. His opponent Randy Orton beat AJ Styles, Carmelo Hayes and Tama Tonga to set up a final clash with Gunther.

In the Queen of the Ring section, Lyra Valkyria beat Dakota Kai, Zoey Stark and Iyo Sky, while Nia Jax got rid of Naomi, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for a final show down with Valkyria.
The predictions are that Gunther and Nia Jax are the most likely contenders for the King and Queen of the Ring titles.
There will be three other matches on May 25 – the Women’s World Championship, Triple Threat Match and the Undisputed WWE Championship. Becky Lynch will face Liv Morgan in the Singles match for the women’s World Championship and is expected to win. In the Cody Rhodes vs Logan Paul Undisputed WWE Championship title fight, Rhodes is the hot favourite, but Logan Paul could pull off a surprise. As for the Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Sami Zayn, Chad Gable and Bronson Reed will take the ring, with the former expected to win.
