It has been an extraordinary day for uncapped Indian players who are fetching substantial amounts at the Women's Premier League (WPL) Auction 2024. Kashvee Gautam, initially listed in the uncapped all-rounder with a base price of 10 lakhs, created a stir by securing a remarkable bid of 2 crores.

The bidding war initiated with Kashvee witnessed a heated competition between UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants. The two teams engaged in a back-and-forth battle for the player, with Gujarat ultimately securing Kashvee for 2 crores.
In the same set, Poonam Khemnar and Saima Thakor were acquired by UP Warriorz for 10 lakhs each, while Mumbai Indians secured S Sajana for 15 lakhs and Amandeep Kaur for 10 lakhs.
Looking ahead, Kashvee Gautam is set to lead the Chandigarh Women's U-23 team in the upcoming T20 tournament scheduled for December 10 in Mumbai.
The team's campaign begins on December 10 against Bihar, followed by matches against Delhi on December 11, Gujarat on December 13, Uttarakhand on December 15, and Uttar Pradesh on December 19. The last match for the team is scheduled for December 21, against Chhattisgarh.
