WPL 2024 - Mr. Nags gets advice from RCB captain Smriti Mandhana after his 'How to Talk to Women' book backfires

The second edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL) has begun with a bang, with A-list stars and the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, all gracing the occasion. Following that, an excellent cricket match was played between last year's finalists, Mumbai Indians (MI), and Delhi Capitals (DC), which saw the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side win by 4 wickets.

On February 24, another exciting match awaits as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be taking on UP Warriorz (UPW) on Saturday at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Ahead of this game, the franchise's iconic Mr Nags (comedian Danish Sait) made his debut with the women's team and brought along a book called 'How to Talk to Women,' which hilariously backfired. However, he was given the best advice by Captain Smriti Mandhana on this topic.

Mr Nags is seen in the video shared by RCB on their social media, walking up to the group of ladies and trying various topics presented in the book - from mansplaining to attempting to tell women jokes, and even discussing pop culture and also being chivalrous. However, he uses the terms correctly but does everything wrong, leading to him getting tied up and locked by Sophie Devine.

Later, skipper Smriti Mandhana comes searching for him and tells him that one just needs to be 'respectful' to talk to women.

In the first edition, RCB's campaign did not meet expectations as out of eight games, the star-studded side suffered six losses and managed only two wins, finishing fourth in the five-team competition. A significant issue for RCB last year was their bowlers' struggle to take wickets, despite having talents like Renuka Singh, Megan Schutt, and Ellyse Perry.

However, the current squad appears more balanced, thanks to the addition of several all-rounders acquired during the auction.
