While the news of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma having their second baby had been going on for a long time and the couple, finally on February 20 (Tuesday) took to Instagram to share the joyous news of their second child's arrival. The parents welcomed their son, Akaay, into the world on February 15, as announced by the cricketer and actor.

While the pair had chosen to keep their current whereabouts undisclosed, fans have gotten their hands on pictures of Virat Kohli strolling through the streets of London shortly after the baby's announcement. 

Virat Kohli in London:

After Virat Kohli opted out of the Test series against England, many speculations had started with many even stating that he was not in India. There were even speculations regarding Anushka Sharma's second child's delivery at a London hospital.

However, with the emergence of the recent photo of Virat in the city, social media went abuzz as it was almost confirmed that the couple welcomed little Akaay in London.

According to the image doing the rounds on social media, Kohli was captured strolling along a London street in the evening, dressed in a dark jacket paired with white pants and a cap. The cricketer appeared solemn in the candid snapshot, seemingly taken by an observant fan.

Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli’s baby announcement:

As for the announcement of their second child, the couple said their three-year-old daughter Vamika has become a sister to baby brother Akaay. They in their statement shared via Instagram on Tuesday wrote, "With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika's little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love and gratitude – Virat and Anushka."

Anushka's pregnancy news had been circulating since last year, but the actor and the cricketer had not confirmed nor denyed the rumors. Throughout this period, she had accompanied Virat to various cricket matches across the country.

In the movie front, Anushka was last seen in a lead role in the 2018 film 'Zero'. She has since been preparing for the release of her Netflix film, 'Chakda 'Xpress' - inspired by the journey of legendary Indian women's team bowler Jhulan Goswami.
