Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan recently grabbed the attention of all when his visit to the United States of America (USA) saw him being the topic of discussion. Together with his teammate and captain Babar Azam, Rizwan enrolled in an executive education programme at the esteemed Harvard Business School.

However, after the programme ended on Saturday, June 3, Rizwan made the decision to stay in Boston longer. it was during this time, Rizwan was involved in an incident of praying in public that drew the attention of social media users.

Quickly becoming viral, the video of Mohammad Rizwan performing Namaz on the streets of the US drew both supportive and critical comments.

While some people commended Rizwan for his commitment to his faith and his commitment to upholding his religious commitments, others chastised him for not choosing a more suitable location for prayer.

Just days before this incident, Rizwan had taken to social media to offer his heartfelt prayers to the victims of the tragic train accident that occurred in Balasore, Odisha. "Loss of human lives is always painful as we are all one ummah. My heart and prayers go to the people affected by the train accident in India," Rizwan tweeted.

As far as cricket is concerned, Pakistan recently won their ODI series against New Zealand, with a comprehensive 4-1 win. However, now their attention will shift to the Asia Cup 2023 and the ODI World Cup 2023, where they will be looking to deliver impressive performances.

Following the ACC and ICC events, the Men in Green will head to Australia for a three-match Test series in December 2023.
