In the Group A match held in Dubai, India posted 259 for 9, with Adarsh Singh, Uday Saharan, and Sachin Dhas each scoring a half-century. Adarsh made 62, and Uday Saharan contributed 60, with the turning point being the partnership between them for the third wicket. Pakistan's effective pace bowling initially kept India in check.
