In the ongoing IPL 2025, history has been made as a 14-year-old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, became the youngest player to make his debut in the IPL, representing Rajasthan Royals.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was picked by Rajasthan Royals during the IPL mega auctions held in November 2024 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. What made the debut even more special was Vaibhav stepping up on the first ball against LSG's Shardul Thakur and hitting a massive six over extra cover. 1. Vaibhav Suryavanshi (14 years, 23 days)

Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest player to make a debut in IPL history. The player was picked by Rajasthan Royals during the IPL mega auctions held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2024. The player made his debut against Lucknow Super Giants and smashed 34 runs in just 20 balls.

2. Prayas Ray Barman (16 years, 157 days)

Prayas Ray Barman is the second youngest player who made his debut in 2019 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The player was 16 years and 157 days old when he played his only IPL match for the franchise. Since then, the player has not been picked again by any of the IPL franchise.

3. Mujeeb Ur Rehman (17 years, 11 days)
