Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, the talented Indian men's doubles pair, showcased their prowess on the badminton court as they secured a thrilling victory over China's Wang Chang and Liang Weikeng with a scoreline of 21-15, 24-22 in the semi-finals of the Korea Open.

In the opening game, the Indian duo displayed dominance, maintaining a comfortable lead throughout and securing a convincing victory with a score of 21-15.

However, the second game presented a tougher challenge as the Chinese pair mounted a comeback, taking the lead at 19-18.

Despite facing a tense situation and losing out on three match points, the Indian side persevered and continued to push forward.

It was Satwiksairaj Rankireddy's powerful smash that proved to be the game-changer, as the shuttlecock gracefully touched the net and landed just inside the opponent's court, clinching a crucial point for the Indian team.

With this impressive win, they have advanced to the final, where they will face either South Korea's Seung-jae Seo and Min-hyuk Kang or Indonesia's Fajar Alfian and Muhammed Rian Ardianto.

The upcoming final promises to be a fiercely competitive showdown as the Indian duo vies for the prestigious title at the Korea Open.

The Indian duo has already won the Swiss Open and Indonesia Open titles to go with the Asian Champions gold medal this year.
