The 7th clash of the Women's Premier League (WPL) will see Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) take on Delhi Capitals (DC) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday (February 29th). While RCB has secured two consecutive wins, the women of Delhi made a comeback against UP Warriroz (UPW) in their last match.

Both RCB and DC will enter this game on the back of comfortable victories. With two successive wins at their home ground, Royal Challengers Bangalore have put behind the horrors of the previous season, where they only secured 2 wins out of all the matches played. However, they will face a big challenge in the form of Delhi Capitals when the two teams face off.

Speaking of RCB, they began their campaign against UPW, where they won by 2 runs in a last-ball thriller, and followed it up with a victory against Gujarat Giants (GG), defeating them by 8 wickets (with 45 balls to spare). The Smriti Mandhana-led side is likely to stick to the winning combination that has brought them these two victories.
As for DC, they suffered defeat in the season opener against Mumbai Indians (MI) on the very last, ball but made a comeback against UPW, winning by 9 wickets (with 33 balls left). Meg Lanning's team remained unchanged in the last game, and they too are likely to field the same eleven.
The wickets for the initial two games played well irrespective of the toss. However, as the tournament advanced, bowling first became advantageous, with the pitches tending to be sluggish during the initial half of the first innings before becoming more favourable for batting.
