The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will see Punjab Kings (PBKS) hosting Delhi Capitals (DC) at their new home, the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh on Saturday (March 23).

The first match of the Saturday double-header is scheduled for 3:30 PM IST and will be broadcast on the Star Sports Network, while viewers can also catch it for free on the Jio Cinema app.

This year, Punjab will not be playing at I.S. Bindra Punjab Cricket Association Stadium but at the new stadium in Mullanpur which is scheduled to be officially inaugurated with this match. While a few domestic games have been played here, it is anticipated that the pitch and conditions might evolve after several games. According to reports, the pitch will offer significant support for bowlers and teams might lean towards bowling first.
