Renowned YouTube sensation iShowSpeed has captured the attention of cricket enthusiasts with his current visit to India, where he intends to express his support for Virat Kohli and the Indian national team participating in the ongoing ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023. 

Currently, in Mumbai, he is preparing for his journey to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where he will be present to witness the India vs Pakistan encounter on October 14, a highly anticipated match expected to deliver exhilarating moments.

News of iShowSpeed's visit to India has ignited considerable excitement among his devoted fanbase, who eagerly await his experiences in the country. While in Mumbai, he has engaged in live-streaming, offering viewers a glimpse into his adventures as he explores the city, with the company of his cameraman and manager, Slipz.

During his Mumbai escapades, iShowSpeed took a light-hearted detour to a local cricket ground, attempting to wield the bat despite his limited cricketing expertise. As anticipated, he encountered challenges when attempting to make substantial connections with the majority of the bowled deliveries. He at one point got frustrated and said, "I'm playing like Babar Azam'. The reference comes after the Pakistani skipper in two matches had a poor outing.

But who is iShowSpeed, or Speed?

For those unfamiliar with him, his full name is Darren Watkins Junior, but he is more commonly known as iShowSpeed or simply Speed. He is a prominent American figure in the world of YouTube, live streaming, music as a singer and rapper, and an overall internet personality. His content on YouTube and Instagram has garnered a substantial following, thanks to his unique blend of humour and fervour that resonates with a wide-ranging audience.

Among his most fervent desires was the opportunity to visit India, primarily driven by his aspiration to meet his idol, Virat Kohli. His visit has stirred considerable excitement, particularly following his earlier encounter with football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

iShowSpeed had also captured the attention of Bollywood icon Daler Mehndi who asked him to visit India for a session of singing and musical jamming. Daler Mehndi was greatly impressed by iShowSpeed's dance performance set to his iconic track, "Tunak Tunak Tun."

In March 2023, iShowSpeed engaged in a FaceTime conversation with renowned Indian rapper Emiway Bantai, discussing the possibility of a collaboration if he were to visit India.
