'Just like MS Dhoni': Fans react after Ishan Kishan gets Michael Bracewell run-out, cameraman pans towards 'Thala'

Fans have flocked to Ranchi, where the 1st T20I between India and New Zealand is being played. However, most are enjoying the game after seeing MS Dhoni in the stands.

The cameraman frequently panned towards Sakshi and MS Dhoni, but this time it was when Ishan Kishan ran Michael Bracewell out for 1.

Daryl Mitchell failed to get bat on the slog and the ball clipped the thigh pad before rolling to the left. The Indian keeper made a run and collected it and hit the ball straight at the stumps dislodging it. Kishan caught Bracewell just short of his crease and the Kiwis lost two wickets in that over.

Soon after the wicket was taken, the camera panned towards MSD, and fans on the internet could not stop saying he is following the 'Thala's' footsteps - both being from Ranchi.

As for the clash, the BlackCaps scored 176 runs and lost six wickets in their 20 overs. The side had got off to a flier (37-0 after 4 overs) but it was before Washington Sundar came and changed the game as he took a double-wicket over. 

However, towards the end, Arshdeep Singh gave away 27 runs seeing the Kiwis go on to score 176 runs. Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell both smashed their half-centuries.
