The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going on in full swing with teams battling hard against each other. The action now moves to the Ekana Cricket Stadium for match no. 16 between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI) that is set to be played on Friday, April 3.
The Super Giants would look forward to registering their second win of the IPL 2025 after facing a defeat in their previous match-up against PBKS. The team has played three matches and won just once against SRH. LSG's primary concern will be its bowling that has let them down majorly during the tournament.
On the other hand, the Mumbai Indians (MI) will be coming with high spirits against LSG after bashing KKR by eight wickets at their home ground. The team currently sits in sixth position in the overall standings with a single win in three matches.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG): Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), David Miller, Ayush Badoni, Abdul Samad, Shardul Thakur, Digvesh Rathi, Ravi Bishnoi, and Avesh Khan.

Mumbai Indians (MI): Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickelton (wk), Will Jacks, Suryakumar Yadav, Tikal Verma, Hardik Pandya ©, Naman Dhir, Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Trent Boult, and Ashwani Kumar.

The pitch at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow has favoured batters for the most part. The bowlers have failed to get any purchase from the wicket. Hence, cricket lovers can expect another high-scoring contest between LSG and MI on Friday, April 4.
