In this mammoth chase of 277 runs posted by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Match 8 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Mumbai Indians (MI) had a few fans present among the crowd, one bing singer Anu Malik.

Seen cheering for MI in his fluorescent green T-shirt and green glasses got fans excited, who took to social media, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter) to spark memes and use his famous Indian Idol dialogue 'aag laga dunga' (I will set fire).
As for the clash, the crowd at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium has been anything but calm as SRH surpassed the old Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) record of the highest total of 263 runs.
After Mayank Agarwal's dismissal for 11 runs, Travis Head (62 off 24), and Abhishek Sharma (63 off 23) went strong while Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen forged a 116-run partnership. This propelled their side's total to 277 runs in 20 overs.

Only Hardik Pandya, Gerald Coetzee, and Piyush Chawla managed to take wickets while the playing XI just saw the ball soaring in the air and into the stands.
Currently, MI in 9 overs, have scored 119 runs having lost two wickets. Former MI skipper Rohit Sharma (26) and Ishan Kishan (34) gave a strong start to the Powerplay but also succumbed within the 6 overs. SRH's Shahbaz Ahmed and Pat Cummins picked up one wicket each.
