For the new season, the Indian southpaw Shikhar Dhawan will lead the side at their new home venue, the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.
At the mini-auction last year, the team acquired South African batter Rilee Rossouw, while they also secured the out-of-favour Indian all-rounder Harshal Patel for a whopping 11.75 crores.
The side, however, does possess players like Sam Curran, Kagiso Rabada, Sikandar Raza and Liam Livingstone, who can single-handedly change the game. While their spin department has the likes of Harpreet Brar and Rahul Chahar, they also have Prabhsimran Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Harpreet Bhatia, and Rishi Dhawan as Indian talents.
