Match 3 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the iconic Eden Gardens had all the drama imaginable. It all began with KKR all-rounder Andre Russell unleashing his power in the first innings, especially when his side needed it the most.

He reached a 20-ball fifty and at the end of the 20 overs, scored 64 runs off 25 balls, consisting of 3 fours and 7 maximums, taking KKR's score to 208 runs.
Coming in to chase, Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma started off well, hitting boundaries and trying to utilize the Powerplay to their advantage.
However, the breakthrough came when Harshit Rana got the better of Agarwal. However, he gave a ferocious send-off to Mayank Agarwal after taking his wicket, which received mixed reactions. Seeing this, the SRH opener also looked at him angrily, while Harshit did not stop staring at him despite the wild eye contact.
If this was not enough, even the umpire got injured in this game. The game came to a halt after the umpire was hit on his shin and he was on the ground.
