As teams gear up for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL), this article focuses on the Delhi Capitals (DC) and their preparations, team, schedule, and more for the 2024 edition.
In 2023, the Delhi Capitals finished 9th on the points table, winning just 5 games and losing 9 out of the 14 league matches played.
The team, which was without the services of Rishabh Pant after the wicketkeeper-batter met with an accident in 2022, is making a return after 14 months. Delhi Capitals have now replaced Australia's David Warner as the captain and named Pant as their skipper for the upcoming season.
Pant has not played competitive cricket since December 2022 when he unfortunately suffered a near-fatal accident. With him making a comeback, the side will surely be pumped.
They also have Ricky Ponting as the head coach and Sourav Ganguly as Director Of Cricket and boast a very balanced squad with an adequate number of foreign and domestic players.

Talking about their bowlers, they have the spin twins, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel, while Ishant Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, and Khaleel Ahmed will take care of the fast bowling department along with Anrich Nortje and Jhye Richardson.
