IND vs SA: While fans praise Sanju Samson's 50, they question Tilak Varma's very slow innings

After being tasked with batting first in the decisive 3rd and final ODI against South Africa at Boland Park in Paarl, India discovered stability in the form of Sanju Samson after losing three wickets. This series serves as the tiebreaker, with both teams having secured one victory each.

Samson proceeded to craft an impressive half-century on a challenging pitch, displaying fluent and comfortable batting. He reached the milestone with an effortless dab down to deep third.

While fans flooded social media, specifically X (formerly known as Twitter), with praises for Sanju Samson, concerns arose regarding his partner, young talent Tilak Varma, who managed to score only 9 runs in 37 balls.

At the time of writing this article, India's score stands at 126 runs in 29 overs, with Samson and Tilak still at the crease. Debutant Rajat Patidar fell victim to Nandre Burger after scoring 22, while the two-match half-centurion Sai Sudharsan departed after contributing just 10 runs. 

Skipper KL Rahul's stay at the crease was brief, as he too was dismissed for a mere 21 runs.
