IND vs SA: WATCH Sai Sudharsan's diving catch that sent Heinrich Klaasen back to the pavilion

In the pivotal 3rd and final ODI at Boland Park in Paarl, the age-old adage "Catches win Matches" proved true as India's Sai Sudharsan executed a remarkable catch, dismissing South African batter Heinrich Klaasen for 21 runs. The series decider witnessed the young Indian talent diving forward at full stretch to secure a brilliant catch.

During the 32nd over, Avesh Khan delivered to Klaasen, who chipped the ball into the air towards mid-off. The ball seemed destined to fall short for Sai, but he propelled himself forward, managing to pull off an outstanding catch. The umpires promptly reviewed the catch and needed just one look to confirm its cleanliness, marking the end of Klaasen's innings.

Cricket fans could not keep calm as they took to social media, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their excitement. 

As for the overall clash, India posted a total of 296 runs in their allotted 59 overs, highlighted by Sanju Samson's maiden century and Tilak Varma's debut half-century. 

At the time of writing this article, the host nation, in 34 overs, has lost six wickets and requires 117 runs to secure victory in the series-deciding match.
