No one on the field today could take the ball away from Mohammed Siraj as he secured a remarkable 6-wicket haul, dismantling the South African batting unit at Newlands in Cape Town. This marks his first 6-wicket haul in Test matches, boasting an impressive bowling figure of 6/15, which includes two wicket-maiden overs, showcasing Siraj's unstoppable form.
On Day 1 of the 2nd Test, Siraj dismissed opener Aiden Markram for two runs, marking a wicket-maiden over for him. Returning for his next spell, he claimed the significant wicket of skipper Dean Elgar, preventing him from settling and sending him back for 4. Siraj continued his onslaught by dismissing Tony de Zorzi, who managed just two runs.

In the 15th over, Siraj added two more scalps to his tally. Firstly, he sent David Bedingham back for 12 as the ball spat at him while defending, popping up off the bat shoulder to the slip cordon. The 5th wicket came off Marco Jansen, with a full ball slanted just outside off. Jansen, attempting to defend, saw the ball curve away late, taking the edge for a routine catch by keeper KL Rahul. South Africa found themselves six down within 90 minutes of the game.
Unrelenting in his pursuit, Siraj was given the ball again and claimed his sixth wicket in just his 9th over. A full ball outside off, Kyle Verreynne (15) looked to drive, but it ended up in the hands of the second slip off the outside edge.
Fans expressed their admiration on social media, with many praising Siraj's stellar performance and acknowledging that 'Miyan Magic' is on fire in Cape Town.
For the 2nd Test against South Africa, Team India has made two changes to their playing XI. The seasoned all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, has returned to the Test setup in the ongoing edition of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC).
