Excluding the period of injury, KL Rahul has enjoyed a remarkable year with the bat. Since returning from injury, the batsman has been unstoppable. In the ongoing 1st Test against South Africa at SuperSport Park in Centurion, KL Rahul has achieved a well-deserved century.

In the final delivery of the 65th over, Rahul showcased his prowess by hitting a magnificent SIX to bring up his overseas Test century in a stylish manner. Swinging his bat after Coetzee delivered a fuller ball at the stumps, Rahul cleared his front leg and launched the ball over deep mid-wicket. He was, however, bowled by Nandre Burger for 101 runs.

Acknowledging the feat, he removed his helmet and gestured with his bat toward the dressing room, prompting applause from everyone. Ravi Shastri, in the commentary, remarked, "This is his best Test hundred."
