"Goosebumps" were the overwhelming sentiment among cricket fans as videos of over a lakh people singing "Vande Mataram" at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad after India's resounding win over Pakistan went viral on social media.

India extended their impressive streak with an eighth consecutive victory over Pakistan in ODI World Cup encounters, a win that resonated deeply with the Indian team and its supporters. This triumph not only secured the bragging rights but also catapulted India to the summit of the ODI World Cup table.

After the game came to an end, the electrifying atmosphere at the world's largest cricket stadium, teeming with approximately 130,000 fans, erupted in euphoria as they collectively belted out their joy, marking a sweet moment of celebration for Indian cricket.

The Indian bowling attack, led by Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja, displayed their skills, with each of them claiming two wickets. They limited Pakistan to a mere 191 runs in 42.5 overs.

When it was India's turn to chase the below-par total, Captain Rohit Sharma played an exceptional innings, making the task even more straightforward. Although Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli didn't stay at the crease for long, Shreyas Iyer took his time and contributed an unbeaten 53 to secure victory for India.

Looking ahead, India will face Bangladesh on October 19th in Pune, while Pakistan will take on Australia on October 20th in Bangalore.
