IND vs PAK: Shubman Gill's return gets crowd crazy, say 'The Prince is back in Ahmedabad'

The highly anticipated clash of the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 between India and Pakistan has arrived, and fans have filled Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, painting the stands in blue. Amid the electrifying atmosphere, the excitement reached a fever pitch when India's captain, Rohit Sharma, announced that Shubman Gill was back in the playing XI.

When questioned about the team lineup, Rohit expressed, "Gill is back in place of Ishan (Kishan). It's unfortunate for Ishan to miss out, and I feel for him as he stepped up when we needed him. Gill has been a special player for us over the past year, especially at this ground, and we wanted him back."

Following this announcement, fans took to social media, particularly on X (formerly known as Twitter), to celebrate the return of the 'Prince of Cricket,' especially in Ahmedabad.

In terms of the game itself, India won the toss and decided to field, making only one change, while Pakistan entered the match with the same lineup.
