India's versatile all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, found a distinctive way to remain connected with the action of the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 after an ankle injury forced him to exit the tournament during the league match against Bangladesh on October 19.

Despite being sidelined, Pandya made a stylish appearance during the 1st semi-final clash between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Donning a cowboy hat and leisurely sipping coconut water, Pandya was captured enjoying the thrilling encounter from the stands.

The charismatic cricketer was not alone in his enjoyment, sharing the moment with Bollywood actor John Abraham, adding a touch of glamour to the match atmosphere.

Initially anticipated to recover in time for India's last league match against Netherlands on November 12, Pandya's fitness woes led to his replacement by Prasidh Krishna. Despite being away from on-field action, Pandya's presence at the stadium showcased his continued support for the team.

In the ongoing clash, India demonstrated its prowess, amassing 275 runs for the loss of one wicket in 38 overs. Shubman Gill, although retiring hurt, contributed to the team's score, while Virat Kohli's impressive 92 and Shreyas Iyer's half-century added to the team's formidable performance.
