This proved to be a significant setback for the Indian team as Gill walked off the field.
In the 22.4th over, Shubman Gill succumbed to the Mumbai heat, which had been intense throughout the day with minimal breeze. The physio quickly attended to him, but it appeared that he was not in a condition to continue, prompting him to walk off the field.
