India delivered a spectacular performance just ahead of their semi-final clash against New Zealand in the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023! After posting a formidable total of 410 runs, the Men in Blue showcased their bowling prowess, dismissing the Netherlands for 250 in 47.5 overs and securing a convincing victory by 160 runs.

While the Indian bowlers have consistently been formidable in the tournament, the final league game witnessed several top-order batters taking on bowling responsibilities.

Captain Rohit Sharma entrusted the ball to the likes of Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav, and even bowled the final over himself. Adding to the excitement, both Kohli and Rohit managed to claim a wicket each during their bowling spells.

As the top-order batters showcased their bowling skills, fans jokingly questioned what about Shreyas Iyer also bowling.

Teja Nidamanuru emerged as the top performer for the Netherlands, scoring 54 off 39 balls, while Sybrand Engelbrecht contributed 45 before being bowled by Mohammed Siraj. Despite noteworthy contributions from Colin Ackermann (35) and Max ODowd (30), the Dutch fell short in chasing the imposing target set by India.

India's bowling campaign was led by Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja, each securing two wickets, while Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma contributed with one wicket each.

In the first innings, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli dazzled with half-centuries, setting the stage for a century spectacle from Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul. The Indian middle-order duo displayed their prowess, playing pivotal roles in India's dominant total of 410 for 4 against the Netherlands in Match 45.
