Indian fans got exactly what they expected from Jasprit Bumrah — a lethal yorker capable of dismantling any batter's defence. This was evident on Day 2 of the 2nd Test as the Indian pacer dismissed last game's 196-run scorer, Ollie Pope, for 23 runs. However, it was not just the dismissal that impressed spectators, but also how Bumrah rattled the stumps, sending it to the ground and electrifying the audience.

Despite facing 55 deliveries on Day 2, Pope appeared clueless against Bumrah's beaming inswinging yorker, resulting in his middle and leg stumps being rattled.

Bumrah's delivery not only removed England's leading run-getter of the series but also garnered widespread praise on X (formerly known as Twitter), with fans urging him to continue wreaking havoc on the English side.

Meanwhile, at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed his maiden double century. However, his magnificent innings were brought to a halt by veteran bowler James Anderson after accumulating 209 runs.

On the other hand, the rest of the Indian batters faced an early setback after winning the toss and opting to bat. Captain Rohit Sharma fell for 14 runs on Day 1, followed swiftly by Shubman Gill, who managed to score 34. Jaiswal then stabilized the innings with a crucial partnership of 90 runs with Shreyas Iyer (27), before achieving his maiden Test century on home soil.

However, the contributions from the other batters were limited to brief cameos. Rajat Patidar (32), Axar Patel (27), Srikar Bharat (17), and R Ashwin (20) all made modest contributions with the bat.
