Team India made it four wins in a row in the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 and the icing on the cake was Virat Kohli's century. In the 17th match of the tournament, Team India put on a dominant performance against Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Virat Kohli, renowned for his prowess in chasing, took centre stage, delivering a splendid century that left the crowd in sheer admiration.

The spectators present at the stadium paid their tribute to the 'KING,' showing their appreciation as Kohli reached the coveted century milestone. In a departure from his customary penchant for singles, Kohli crafted his innings masterfully. KL Rahul provided vital support, playing a significant role in assisting Kohli to achieve his hundred.

In pursuit of 257 runs, Rohit Sharma played a pivotal role with a brisk 40-ball 48, despite becoming one of the three Indian batsmen who were dismissed while attempting to clear the boundary. Shubman Gill also made a significant contribution, reaching a well-deserved half-century, while Kohli added another century to his tally, marking his 48th in ODIs. KL Rahul remained unbeaten at 34*.

Unfortunately, Bangladesh faced their third consecutive defeat. Key contributors with the bat for Bangladesh included Tanzid Hasan (51), Litton Das (66), Mahmudullah (46), and Mushfiqur Rahim (38).

Indian bowlers effectively limited their neighbours to a total of 256 runs for the loss of 8 wickets within the allotted 50 overs. India's bowlers, including Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Ravindra Jadeja, each claimed two wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur secured one wicket apiece.
