IND vs AUS: Nail-biter in Bengaluru gets netizens excited; India triumphs 4-1 in epic series finale

In the highly anticipated showdown at Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the game unfolded exactly as the crowd desired. With 10 runs needed off the last 6 balls, Australia seemed poised for victory against India. 

However, Arshdeep Singh's final over proved decisive, claiming the wicket of skipper Matthew Wade and witnessing a dramatic incident where Nathan Ellis's powerful shot hit the umpire's right thigh. 

India successfully defended the total, winning the fifth and final game by 6 runs and sealing the T20I series 4-1. Netizens expressed their joy on X (formerly known as Twitter) as India emerged triumphant.

As for the clash, despite the challenging track, India defended 160, thanks to Shreyas Iyer's top score of 53 and valuable contributions from Jitesh Sharma and Axar Patel.

In the chase, Australia started aggressively, scoring 40 runs in the first four overs. Ravi Bishnoi got the crucial breakthrough, dismissing Travis Head. Spinners slowed the scoring rate, and Axar Patel broke a vital partnership. 

Ben McDermott reached his fifty but fell to a low full toss. Mukesh Kumar's excellent 17th over included back-to-back wickets. Despite Matthew Wade's spirited effort with three consecutive fours in the 18th over, the visitors could not clinch victory at the end.
