IND vs AUS Final: KL Rahul continues to fight with his 50, fans unite on X in prayer for India's victory

After a commanding performance in 11 games at the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023, the final against Australia presented unexpected challenges for the Men in Blue, with the loss of three wickets in just 11 overs. 

Shubman Gill (4), Rohit Sharma (47), and Shreyas Iyer (4) were all dismissed, placing the responsibility on Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. Though the innings slowed down, Kohli and Rahul managed to keep the scoreboard ticking. However, the joy of Kohli's half-century was short-lived, as he fell victim to captain Pat Cummins, getting bowled out for 54.

Ravindra Jadeja joined KL Rahul, but his stay was brief as he departed for just 9 runs in 22 balls. Throughout this, Rahul continued his fight, reaching his 50 and standing tall to bear the responsibility once again. 

Netizens took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to unite in prayer, hoping for Rahul to stay at the crease until the end, securing victory for India.

As of the 38th over, India has scored 183 runs, losing five wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. KL Rahul has scored 59 and is now partnered with Suryakumar Yadav, aiming to take the score beyond 250.
