The last-ball finish, with Rinku Singh sealing the deal, kept fans on the edge of their seats, showcasing the unpredictable nature of T20 cricket. Despite the loss, Australia remains unfazed with four more games to play.

The relentless support persisted even as Australia posted a formidable total of 208 runs, resonating with the passion of Indian cricket enthusiasts.

Fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to speak about the two very different crowds for two very different tournaments.

Suryakumar Yadav, entrusted with the captaincy in the T20I series against Australia, displayed his batting prowess by smashing a brisk 80 off 42 balls. Ishan Kishan complemented the onslaught with a dynamic innings, contributing 58 runs off 39 balls. This successful chase of 209 runs stands as India's highest target achieved in T20Is, marking a significant milestone in the team's history.

Earlier in the match, after being asked to bat, Australia amassed a challenging total of 208 for the loss of three wickets. Ravi Bishnoi struck early, dismissing Matthew Short, but the duo of Steve Smith and Josh Inglis dominated the Indian bowlers. Inglis's spectacular innings featured 110 runs off 50 balls, comprising 11 fours and eight sixes before Prasidh Krishna claimed his wicket. Tim David's aggressive approach ensured he remained unbeaten with 19 runs off 13 balls.
