Team India did not have the most ideal start as, at the end of the Powerplay, they had already lost four wickets against Afghanistan at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. However, skipper Rohit Sharma, who was joined by Rinku Singh, settled in and began smashing boundaries.

By the end of the 14th over, they helped India reach a total of 104 runs, with captain Rohit Sharma even reaching his half-century in 41 balls. His innings included 5 fours and 3 sixes. 

Rinku Singh, the smasher, has also found his rhythm, hitting the ball and rotating the strike. His innings included 1 four and 2 maximums. 

Together, they stabilized the innings posting an 82-run partnership after the Men in Blue lost Yashasvi Jaiswal (4), Virat Kohli (0), Shivam Dube (1), and Sanju Samson (0) in quick succession.

In the ongoing clash, India is still four down but has managed to score runs. Concerning Afghanistan, Fareed Ahmad Malik picked three wickets, while Azmatullah Omarzai got one to his name. 

At the toss, India made three changes - Sanju, Avesh, and Kuldeep are in, while Axar, Jitesh, and Arshdeep are out.
